BankTopp («we», «us», «our») is operated by NorwegianSpark SA (Org: 834 984 172), registered in Norway. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Norwegian Personal Data Act and the Marketing Control Act.

2. Information we collect

• Contact form: Name, email address, subject and message content when you contact us.
• Newsletter: First name and email address when you sign up for our newsletter.
• Analytics data: Anonymous usage data including pages visited, time on site, device type and browser. Collected via Vercel Analytics (privacy-friendly, cookie-free).
• Affiliate click data: When you click an affiliate link, we record the click for commission tracking. No personal data is shared with affiliate partners beyond what their own sites collect.

3. Legal basis for processing

• Contact form: Legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) — to respond to your inquiry.
• Newsletter: Consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)) — you actively sign up.
• Analytics: Legitimate interest — to improve the site.
• Affiliate tracking: Legitimate interest — to operate our business.

4. Data retention

Contact form data is retained for 12 months, then deleted. Analytics data is retained for 24 months in anonymized form. Newsletter data is retained as long as you remain a subscriber.

7. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free and privacy-friendly. No consent banner is required.

8. Third-party services

• Vercel (hosting and analytics) — processes data in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Resend (email delivery) — processes contact form data to deliver emails.

9. International transfers

Data may be processed outside the EEA by our service providers (Vercel, Resend). Appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

10. Marketing Control Act

In accordance with the Marketing Control Act § 3 on good marketing practice and § 6 on unfair commercial practices, we clearly disclose all commercial relationships. Affiliate links are labeled and we receive commission at no extra cost to you. We act in accordance with the Marketing Control Act's requirements for identification of advertising and commercial messages.
